THE CLAVERING INSTRUMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNING BODY

The Clavering Instrument of Government is the document that sets out the constitution of the governing body. The contents are as follows:

1. The name of the school is: “Clavering Primary School”
2. The school became part of Extol Trust on 1st October 2024
3. The local governing body shall consist of: 2 parent governors, 2 staff governors, 1 headteacher and  up to 6 co-opted governors
4. Total number of governors: 11
5. This instrument of government comes into effect on 1st October 2024
6. A copy of the instrument must be supplied to every member of the governing body (and the headteacher if not a governor).
